Every 24 August, San Antonio celebrates its patron saint Sant Bartomeu with the island's biggest fireworks display, launched over the bay. The whole town turns out along the waterfront for the festes — concerts, processions and the famous pyrotechnics. The best seat in the house is on the water: watch the fireworks reflected off the sea from a boat anchored in the bay.
