Cancellation Options

Understand cancellation windows and what happens to your booking.

Policy types (set by the boat owner)

Each boat has one of the following cancellation policies. The policy is shown on the boat's listing and at checkout. Check before you book.

  • Flexible β€” Full refund if you cancel up to 1 day before check-in (before the time shown on the listing). No refund if you cancel later or leave early.
  • Moderate β€” 70% refund if you cancel at least 10 days before check-in. No refund if you cancel less than 10 days before check-in or leave early.
  • Strict β€” 60% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in. No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before check-in or leave early.

Owner Cancellations

If a boat owner needs to cancel your booking, you'll receive a full refund automatically. We'll notify you immediately and help you find alternative options if you'd like.

In rare cases where an owner cancels at the last minute, we'll work with you to find a suitable replacement or provide full compensation.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed to your original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider, typically taking 5-10 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.

Weather-Related Cancellations

If weather conditions make it unsafe to depart, the boat owner may cancel the trip. In such cases, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
