Safety Information
Safety tips and guidelines for renters and boat owners.
Before You Go
Always confirm the exact meeting point and time with your boat owner before departure. Check weather conditions and forecasts for your trip date, as weather can change quickly on the water.
Review all onboard rules and safety equipment locations. Make sure you understand emergency procedures and how to use safety equipment if needed.
Onboard Safety
Follow all instructions from the captain or crew at all times. They are trained in maritime safety and know the local waters best.
Keep a close eye on children and ensure they wear life jackets when required. Stay within designated areas and avoid rough seas or dangerous conditions. Use provided safety equipment, including life jackets, and ensure everyone knows where emergency equipment is located.
Emergency Procedures
In case of an emergency, contact local authorities first by calling 112 (European emergency number). Then notify EasyBoat with your booking details.
Always inform the captain or crew immediately if you or anyone in your party feels unwell, especially if experiencing seasickness or other medical issues.
For Boat Owners
Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and up to date. Provide clear safety briefings to all guests before departure. Maintain proper insurance coverage and follow all local maritime regulations.
