Ibiza's 'wine country' throws open its cellars. Every mid-December the village of Sant Mateu d'Albarca celebrates the Festa des Vi Pagès, where local growers pour their home-made country wine for free tasting and visitors vote for their favourite. Add traditional ball pagès dancing, live music and Ibizan sobrassada and botifarra sausages for one of the island's most authentic, soulful food-and-drink days.
